Founded by licensed massage therapist Kali Gilbert, Ash & Root Co. was created around a simple belief: massage should feel personal.

After beginning my career in wellness spaces and graduating from the Institute for Therapeutic Massage, my experience has taken me from luxury spa environments to working with Division I athletes through Rutgers.

Those very different settings taught me something important: there is no single approach that works for every body.

My Approach

I specialize in relaxation massage, manual lymphatic drainage, sports massage, cupping, and Thai-inspired bodywork, with each session customized around what your body needs that day.

Sometimes that means focused therapeutic work.

Sometimes it means slowing down.

Often, it's a combination of both.

Rather than following the same routine each visit, I listen to how your body is feeling, where you're holding tension, how you've been moving, and what you want from your session.
